San Jose, Costa Rica – FullFlushPoker.com (“FFP”) announced today the winner of the online poker site’s inaugural Leaderboard Competition, the Full Flush 2014 Rising Star.
39 year-old Florida resident, CFB402, has officially been named FFP’s poker gun of the virtual felts across the past 5 months of tournament play, finishing the year with a total of 150 Rising Star Points and $10,000 richer, ahead of his nearest rival and eventual runner-up babinjooo from Slovenia, who finished the year on 112 Rising Star Points, banking $3,000 for his efforts.

“This was the first points related tourney that I have ever been a part of, and hopefully there will be more of these to come at Full Flush, because it just adds that much more excitement to everything that we love about poker, “ added CFB402.
FFP has been on the hunt for the ace amongst their players over the past five months, and CFB402 consistently outperformed the competition over the long haul to see him end the year $10,000 richer and crowned with the title of Full Flush 2014 Rising Star. He also picked up several Monthly Leaderboard prizes, finishing first in both September and October, second in November, and fourth in August, to pocket an additional total of $2,150 in prize money. He cites Dan Harrington as his poker hero, having employed many strategies he learned from reading Harrington on Hold’em (Volumes I, II, and III) to hone his online poker game.
The Michigan-native has been playing online poker off and on since about 2007, discovering Full Flush Poker when real-money gaming was launched at the site in November 2013, and he’s been a Full Flush regular ever since. CFB402 counts his Full Flush 2014 Rising Star win as his biggest achievement in poker to date. When asked about plans for the prize money, he said he would think about it long and hard before spending even a dollar of it.
