EPT Deauville Main Event – Watch Day 4 Live Now

EPT6 Barcelona finalist Georgios Kapalas was the chip leader going in to Day 4 of the €5,300 EPT Deauville Main Event and remained among the 16 players still in Thursday evening.  Joseph Carlino led during the early evening hours.

He was closely followed by EPT Berlin champion Kevin MacPhee, who won in Germany in 2006, has already had a runner-up finish this season, when he was second to Sebastian Pauli in London. EPT regular Dany Parlafes from Romania is third while French pro Guillaume Darcourt, who was the Day 2 overnight chip leader has 801,00.

Other notables that were still in contention for the €543,700 first prize at the start of the day included EPT London champion Ruben Visser, Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, French star Benjamin Pollak and UKIPT London winner Sergio Aido. Last night’s chip leader, Irish player Alex Tikhoniouk – who is playing his first ever EPT – is also still in the running and now guaranteed a lifetime best cash of €12,790.

There were 138 players at the start of today and, after an hour-long bubble, EPT Campione champion Jannick Wrang bust in 88th place to leave everyone else in the money. In all, there were 592 entrants from 43 countries in this season’s Main Event, creating a €2,841,600 prize pool. As well as the title, trophy and cash prize, the new champion will also receive an exclusive watch worth from luxury Swiss brand SLYDE, the Official Watch Sponsor for EPT Season 11 Main Events and High Rollers.
