Dan Colman, Olivier Busquet: Poker’s Hottest Bromance

We’ve been reading a great deal about Dan Colman of late along with his protégé and mentor Olivier Busquet.

There is certainly good reason for this.

Not only did Colman walk away from the Big One Drop a $15 million winner, he made headlines with his seemingly disappointed reaction to winning the money.

Colman, a 23-year-old US poker pro who now resides in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, teamed up with Busquet last week to make further headlines, this time on the political front while taking part in the EPT Barcelona €50,000 Super High-Roller event.

Both men sported shirts that read “Free Palestine” and “Save Gaza” to which European Poker Tour sponsor and co-owner PokerStars immediately reacted by instituting a new policy that bars political statements, including clothing that showcases said beliefs.
