Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev is only a slight favorite at +105 to win the Men's 71kg in Boxing at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

Muydinkhujaev is an Uzbekistani boxer, gold medalist of 2023 IBA Men's World Boxing Championships in welterweight category and bronze medalist of 2022 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships that held in Amman, Jordan

Muydinkhujaev has secured another medal for the Uzbekistan delegation.

In the quarterfinal bout, Muydinkhujaev competed against Nikolai Tertaryan (Denmark) and, after winning the match, advanced to the semifinals.

Thus, he has guaranteed himself at least a bronze medal at the Olympics.

Marco Verde (MEX) pays $200 on a $100 bet to win gold in the 71kg event.

World championships bronze medallist boxer Nishant Dev missed out on a medal after losing 4-1 to Mexican Pan American Games champion Marco Verde in an intense 71kg quarterfinal bout in the Olympics at the North Paris Arena here on Saturday night.

“He (Nishant) is technically sound, I lost to him in the 2021 World championships. My coaches told me to play smart after the first round,” said Verde.

Omari Jones (USA) competed at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, winning the silver medal in the welterweight division.  He would pay out $430 for every $100 bet with a gold medal win in this event.
