The odds to win Men’s Field Hockey for the 2016 Summer Olympics had Australia a 2-1 favorite (+200).

The Netherland at 3-1, Germany at 4-1 and Great Britain were at 6-1 odds.

For Australia, they have won a medal at every Olympic tournament since 1992 and the World Cup winners will be the favorites to clinch what would be only their second gold medal.

“When we go to the Olympic Games as the Australian men’s hockey team we want to win, we don’t want to get bronze, just make the semis or play off for fifth,” said Australian player Mark Knowles.
