You didn't think we were going to let one of the biggest stories in NBA history pass by without a betting angle, did you?

Ok, ok, there is ALREADY a betting angle, but we've added another layer with supporting prop bets.

The first two props...very serious and very disappointing. It will be interesting to see how those play out.

It's unlikely the latter two props will ever come to fruition so those are more for speculation.

Of course, all of this is quite sad, and we recognize the serious nature of these events and do not wish to minimize them.

As we wrote to you yesterday, BetOnline.ag Brand Manager Dave Mason is available for comment should you seek insights and perspective from a leading online sportsbook.

"While this is a disappointing situation for the industry, it underscores the need for the proactive safeguards we have in place," Mason said.

It's important to note that BetOnline has long implemented multiple measures, including wagering limits of $100-$500, to deter the manipulation of player prop markets.

While it won’t disclose information regarding customers’ profiles or transactions, BetOnline reports that is has not seen any irregular betting activity regarding its player props.
