A mysterious gambler has offered a bounty on a man who robbed the luxurious Bellagio Hotel and Casino last week.

The incident in question occurred Tuesday morning around 3 am when an unidentified man entered the famed establishment wearing a motorcycle jacket and helmet.  He held up a craps table in just under 3 minutes time then fled on a motorcycle with over $1.5 million in casino chips.  Authorities believe he robbed another casino just days before.

Now enter “Robin Hood 702”.  The mystery gambler is offering a $50,000 reward for the return of the stolen chips and the arrest and conviction of the bandit.

And “Robin Hood 702” is no fluke, reports the Las Vegas Sun, which has agreed to keep his identity a secret.  The gambler has been helping needy families in Las Vegas for the last two years and would prefer to remain incognito as not to distract from his “charitable” initiative.

I’m just trying to find this guy and stop any copycats,” Robin Hood said during an interview this week with the Sun. “If the Bellagio was hit, the Palazzo could be hit, the Venetian, the MGM Grand … it could be every casino. This guy has to be apprehended quickly.

“These are desperate times. People are going to say, ‘Why don’t I take a shot?’”

Robin Hood 702 uses his website -- http://www.robinhood702.com -- helps those in despair from all over the world by allowing them to submit their pleas for assistance with crushing debt. Robin Hood selects individuals to receive an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas and the opportunity to watch him win their money at the blackjack tables.

Even if he loses, he still pays off at least half their debt, according to the Sun.

“I try to help as many people as I can,” Robin Hood said. “I hope to inspire other philanthropists. How great would it be to have a thousand Robin Hoods helping out?”
