For the last few years Google has dominated search.  Some of us never even considered other less superior search engines.

To its credit, MSN has developed a pretty solid rival in Bing.com.

"The fact that both rank Gambling911.com rather high in search speaks volumes," says Gambling911.com Senior Editor, Payton O'Brien, perhaps being a bit self-righteous in her assessment.

Bing is now nearly 6 percent of Gambling911's referred traffic.

More importantly (okay, maybe not MORE importantly) is which online poker rooms end up well ranked on both search engines for the term "online poker".

PokerStars, Full Tilt and PartyPoker rank in the top three spots, respectively on Google.  Interestingly enough that is where they rank among real cash players, albeit Party is the 4th largest by those measures after European rival, iPoker.

UltimateBet is now ranked an impressive 4th on Google search with the "online poker" inquiry.

DoylesRoom.com, another of the Gambling911.com endorse rooms, comes in 6th place helping to build a strong customer base for the Cake Poker Network, which it joined just a few months ago.

Some of the popular online poker portals also rank well in Google Search.  Among them:  PokerListings.com, LaunchPoker, PokerJunkie.com and PokerRoom.com.

The fact that PartyPoker manages to occupy the number 2 spot on Bing.com is bittersweet since Party does not accept U.S. customers and Bing is yet to build a strong enough presence outside the States.

PokerStars held onto the number one spot ranked for "online poker" while Full Tilt sat in the number three spot.  PokerRoom and PokerListings enjoyed the remaining top 5 ranks.

International Poker Network's InterPoker.com also enjoyed solid rankings on Bing, but they too do not accept U.S. customers.

BetUS.com, which utilizes the Cake Poker Network, also managed a first page appearance on Bing.com for the term "online poker".
