Gambling911.com finally has a first glimpse of the Super Bowl 2014 weather forecast. This is a long range forecast provided Friday January 24, 2014 and is certainly likely to change as we get closer to Game Day February 2. The weather conditions will play a very important role when it comes to betting patterns in terms of which team may have an edge and also where the total scoring is concerned.
The long range forecast for the Meadowlands in beautiful Rutherford, New Jersey calls for snow showers and temperatures hovering around 30 degrees at kickoff.
According to AccuWeather.com Meteorologist and Chief Operations Office Evan Myers, a storm system will be approaching the Northeast on Super Bowl weekend. How much it will affect the game, however, will still need to be monitored. Currently the storm, assuming it affects the New York City area, is looking like it will make its way some time between Friday and Sunday.
The typical high temperature in Seattle is around 48 degrees on average this time of year though they do dip into the 30’s at night.
The initial forecast doesn’t give Denver an edge unless we are talking low 20’s and/or snowfall at game time. Otherwise the conditions are tolerable for a team like the Seahawks, assuming any afformentioned storm hits prior to the big game.
Winds were forecasted to be sustained at around 7 MPH and should not be a factor for this year’s Super Bowl, at least based on early forecasts.
