After opening the season at 9/1 odds of winning the 2011 Super Bowl, the Ravens price has been slashed only slightly down to just shy of 6/1 at Bookmaker.com for a payout potential of nearly $600 on every $100 bet.
The Ravens late afternoon game against Pittsburgh was being viewed as the most competitive of the Divisional Playoffs with many pundits and oddsmakers believing the win would be by a field goal. Nobody seemed sure which team might walk off victorious. Gambling911.com could not predict the outcome of this game.
One primary worry for the Ravens perhaps: Ben Roethlisberger has beaten Baltimore in all six of the last games in which he started.
Another worry perhaps: The Ravens biggest offensive threat, running back Ray Rice, hasn't scored in six games against the Steelers.
