Last week, the bookies made out well with both the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills being able to cover.
Teams getting heavy lopsided wagering action this week include the New Orleans Saints, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers.
Of these, New Orleans was seeing 92 percent of the betting action. The Colts were getting 82 percent of the action. San Francisco was seeing 70 percent of the action for Sunday night’s game. The Broncos were getting closer to 60 percent.
We should preface that both Tampa Bay and the New York Giants were still among the top 8 most wagered on teams despite playing New Orleans and Denver, respectively. In other words, the Saints-Bucs and Broncos-Giants games are the most heavily wagered on games of the weekend.
