Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints odds opened at Saints -5 ½.  While some online sportsbooks have moved a half point down to -5, betED.com has held pat with the -5 ½ point line

The Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans game marks the official start of the 2010 NFL season this coming Thursday night.

The Saints were getting the second most action of any side in the NFL after the Green Bay Packers (who were getting over 95 percent).  New Orleans were getting around 80 percent of the betting in this game despite the juicy line in what should be a competitive matchup.

The Vikings have dominated 4-1 in this series dating back to 2002.  Last year’s Playoffs game was lost by Minnesota in overtime by a mere 3 points.

An important trend to consider here is that the Saints are just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. NFC.

Betting on this gamewas quite brisk just days away from kickoff.
