The total points Philadelphia is expected to score in Super Bowl 52: 27. At least that is the number the oddsmakers have posted for this particular prop bet.
There may or may not be a difference between the points scored with Carson Wentz compared to Nick Foles as starting quarterback. But for the sake of this article, we will look at only the games Foles has started to determine an average number of points scored, leaving out that final week game against the Cowboys.
Well, we get a number of 26.5. Two of these four games had Philadelphia scoring 38 in the NFC Championship game at home against Minnesota and 34 against the imploding Giants.
Two other games had Philadelphia scoring under 20 points (versus Atlanta and Oakland).
It's difficult to see New England allowing the number of points that the Vikings and Giants permitted.
