Bills-Panthers Week 2 Line – What to Bet

The Bills-Panthers Week 2 betting line was set at Carolina -7 after opening at -8.

Buffalo shockingly leads the AFC East coming into Week 2 following their win over the New York Jets.

Tyrod Taylor showed no lingering signs of a concussion that sidelined him for two weeks by throwing two touchdowns in a 21-12 win on Sunday. The Bills never trailed after opening the scoring on Taylor's 1-yard touchdown pass to Charles Clay 3 1/2 minutes into the second quarter.  Buffalo's defense had three interceptions.

Carolina, meanwhile, easily handled the San Francisco 49ers on the road.  Most books had the Panthers among the top 10 most likely to win Super Bowl 52.

A few signs suggest Carolina can cover in this game.  The Bills are 9-22 Against The Spread in their last 31 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game, 8-21-1 ATS in their last 30 games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous game and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games on grass.  They are also 0-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

Indeed Sagarin ratings has Carolina winning by 8 points so the Panthers are a good bet at -7.
