ANALYSIS
Whittington seems to have cemented the lead role after a veritable no-show from Makhi Hughes, who is being used sparingly after many projected him to be the bell-cow back. Whittington's veteran experience with the Ducks makes his production unsurprising as he was always expected to have some contribution, but few could have predicted he'd have a firm hold on first-string reps. There are unlikely to be any upcoming revelations as Dan Lanning keeps lineup decisions largely under wraps, but for now Whittington is the safest bet for this backfield.
