The overnight line on the Thunder-Spurs Game 2 of the 2012 NBA Western Conference Finals was coming in at San Antonio -4.5 at BetOnline

BetOnline

Oklahoma City gave the Spurs a good fight, losing by only 3 points and covering the spread.  Keep in mind, this is a San Antonio team that has won 19 straight games and tying the win streak for most consecutive wins kept alive in the Playoffs.

They are just the 4th NBA team in history to start the post season with nine straight wins.  Two of the previous three teams went on to win the NBA Finals, the ’82 and ’89 Los Angeles Lakers, respectively.

The fact remains, San Antonio is 9-2 Straight Up against Oklahoma City over the last 3 seasons, and that 4.5 point line doesn’t leave OKC with much wiggle room to cover the spread in Tuesday night’s series showdown.

…….BetOnline was offering current Conference Finals series odds

We break these down into $100 denominations, however, as little as $10 can be wagered on for either of the underdogs to win.  A $30 bet would pay out $10 on San Antonio winning the series (the $30 bet is refunded should the Spurs win).

Celtics pays $425 for every $100 bet v Heat -530 requiring a $530 bet to win $100 ($530 refunded should Miami win the Eastern Conference Final).

Thunder pays $250 for every $100 bet v Spurs who require a $300 bet to win $100 ($300 wager is refunded should San Antonio win the Western Conference Final).
