The Oklahoma City Thunder still had some solid value with odds of winning the 2012 NBA Championship set at slightly better than 3/1 at Bookmaker.eu.

The Thunder decimated the Los Angeles Lakers Monday night in Game One of the Western Conference Semi Finals.  The final score: 119-90.

Russell Westbrook had 27 points and 9 assists while Kevin Durant added 25 points.  The Thunder enjoyed a 15 point lead at halftime.

"From then on, it was cruising for us," Westbrook said. "When our team plays like that throughout the game, we put ourselves in a good opportunity to win."

The Lakers, whose odds of winning the 2012 NBA Championship were set at 18/1, hope that history doesn’t repeat itself.  Their 29-point loss is the fifth worst Game 1 loss in franchise history and worst since back in 1998 when L.A. lost by 35 points in the opening game of the Western Conference to the Jazz. They would eventually get swept in that series.
