WWE is resuming live programming for Monday Night Raw, NXT and SmackDown this week while much of the world remains on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The WWE issued this statement:
“We believe it is now more important than ever to provide people with a diversion from these hard times. We are producing content on a closed set with only essential personnel in attendance following appropriate guidelines while taking additional precautions to ensure the health and wellness of our performers and staff. As a brand that has been woven into the fabric of society, WWE and its Superstars bring families together and deliver a sense of hope, determination and perseverance.”
PWInsider (h/t Cageside Seats) also reported late last week that “WWE initially planned to tape every episode of TV in April over the next few days but decided instead that Raw and SmackDown will be airing live from the Performance Center going forward.”
Not all sportsbooks offer betting on WWE events, but in recent years a number have begun to embrace it.
At press time, BetOnline only offered upcoming wagering on Rob Gronkowski championship odds.
Only a handful of European books were offering odds on the Men's Royal Rumble winner.

"They’re spending a lot of time getting a back to basketball plan ready. They hope they get to use it.
"In talking to executives and trainers around the league, what they’re looking at is a 25-day return to basketball window. … An 11-day series of individual workouts, whether it be social distancing for a period of time. And then hopefully, if the clearance comes that they can play five-on-five basketball, a 14-day training camp.
"So as you hope for the country to heal and the virus to get better, look for at least about a three-and-a-half to four week return date before you’d ever get back to games."
It appears to be a significant pivot by Windhorst, who earlier this month reported pessimism among sources with both the league office and players union (NBPA) that the season could resume.
