New England has won four in a row and is coming off its best game of the season, destroying the Browns at home, 45-7, as a 2.5 point favorite.
Conversely, we have the Falcons limping in off a disastrous performance on Sunday that saw them get romped on by the Cowboys, 43-3, as 8-point dogs.
As a result, this line has gotten out of control and, believe it or not, we see some value here with the home dog. Last week at this time, the Falcons opened as a 4-point underdog in this game, but after last week’s results, the betting markets have overreacted and bet the Pats up to a 7.5 point favorite and this is too steep for us not to grab the underdog.
