Jalen Hurts threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns, ran for 56 yards and two more TDs and added another line to his Heisman Trophy resume in leading No. 6 Oklahoma to a 45-20 victory over Kansas on Saturday.
"Every team in the country circles our team and the offense and we like that," said coach Lincoln Riley, whose Sooners had 545 yards. "What's exciting is you see glimpses of what it can be, and it's on us to turn those glimpses into longer stretches of dominant play."
The Sooners opened at 14/1 odds to win the College Football Championship. They were now promising a payout of $1200 for every $100 bet.
Meanwhile, Sam Ehlinger threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more scores while No. 11 Texas converted three turnovers into TDs in a 42-31 victory over West Virginia on Saturday.
Texas has one loss on the season and is now listed at 80/1 odds of winning the College Football Championship.
