Former Palms Nightclub Employee Seeks $15,000 in Damages

Since ending his #NFL career as one of the best running backs to play the game, #OJ Simpson has been no stranger to legal trouble. This time around, he is on the other side of the law as the plaintiff against the Cosmopolitan casino. The incident dates back to November of 2017. Simpson was escorted out of the casino bar Clique by security guards for being “drunk and disruptive.” He has since filed a lawsuit against the Las Vegas Strip casino for “defaming and embarrassing him.” The current litigation is still pending. At one point, Simpson was seeking up to $100 million in damages.

San Jose Hockey Star Faces a Lawsuit Over a $500,000 Gambling Debt
NHL forward Evander Kane has become known for his stellar play on the ice for the San Jose Sharks. He has now made a name for himself in Las #Vegas for an unpaid gambling debt. The #Cosmopolitan is suing Kane for $500,000. The casino claims it gave Kane a half million in markers that were never repaid. The incident happened in April of this year. This also happened to be in the middle of a playoff series between San Jose and the Las Vegas Golden Knights. To date, Kane has yet to respond to the Cosmopolitan’s allegations. Last year, he signed a contract worth $49 million with the Sharks.

In a lawsuit filed by a former employee of the Palms, the plaintiff is seeking $15,000 for unlawful termination. She worked in the nightclub Kaos. The reasoning behind the suit was the lack of a 60-day notice. In a related story, Red Rock Resorts decided to close Kaos on a permanent basis. The club first opened in April of this year. The former employee has been identified as Alyssa Faulstick. She held the position of “lead cocktail server.” Her termination allegedly violated the Worker Adjustment and Retaining Notification Act of 1988. The reason for the sudden close of Kaos was “excessively high” expenses.

The recent announcement confirms the success of those procedures. Ms. Rousso was reportedly 12 weeks pregnant when making the announcement early in November. She has earned more than $3.5 million in live poker winnings.
