The team looks good but the off-the-field distractions are not good for morale. Maybe all will be well when the new season rolls around.
The defense has the potential to be among the NFL's top 10. The run defense allowed only 7 rushing touchdowns last year. The pass rush totaled 38 sacks. With this in mind, it should be noted that more improvements have been made on defense. Leighton Vander Esch was added as a first-round draft pick.
Take away the distractions, there is little reason why Dallas cannot win 9 or more games.
