PokerStars has opted not to accept customers from the state of Michigan as it would like to operate in conjunction with the casinos here, something current online poker rooms targeting Michiganders cannot do.

This could change soon as Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed a bill into law allowing for sports betting, online poker and casino games in the state on December 20, 2019.
