Gambling911.com takes a look at how much you would be profiting right now regularly betting on the Mets either with $100 or $1000 bets on dogs and the paying the favorite price (i.e. a -157 favorite would require a $157 bet or a $1570 bet).

How Profitable Have the Mets Been for Sports Bettors 2022?

(Updated April 22, 2022) - Up to now gamblers betting $100 on dogs and the favorite price would have realized around a $574 profit or $5740 betting a grand each game played thus far....but with a long way to go.

Each of the series to date have proven profitable.

New York had a great series against the Giants, going 3-1 and profiting at $274.  They lost the one game in which they were a dog.

The Mets were 15-2 vs. the Diamondbacks head-to-head but were expected to be favorites most, if not all of these games.  The one in which they were a dog, New York lost.  The other two they won.  You'd have wagered $521 on this series to walk away with a $100 profit.

Against Philadelphia you would have bet $347 to realize a just shy of a $100 profit.

Washinton yielded a nice $200 profit.

The Mets would pay out $1200 for every $100 bet with a World Series win as of April 22.

2021 Profit or Loss Betting the Mets

Last year you would have lost $2191 betting the Mets using $100 denominations.  New York lost quite a few games coming in as hefty favorites, which really put a damper on things.

They concluded the season 77-85.
