Poker Tournaments 2011

The Bride of Chucky Jennifer Tilly could be among those participating in one of the most anticipated poker tournaments of 2011, the Punta Cana Classic

The Punta Cana Poker Classic is looking to be one of the most exciting poker tournaments of 2011 outside of the World Series of Poker.  Players en masse are already beginning to enter for the November 8th to 13th  2011 tournament.

And get ready for July 4.  DoylesRoom.com is holding a non-stop freeroll action on that day. Take time out from the barbeque and join in.  The idea is to giveaway free money to our players and kindly invite them to play our 4 Special Guaranteed tournaments. Or to win their seat to the Punta Cana Poker Classic via our Punta Cana Satellite every other Saturday at 6pm ET, starting on July 9th.

The $25 Freeroll will pay the top 16 runner-ups.
The $50 Freerolls and $100 Freerolls will play top 25.
$500 freerolls will pay top 100.

DO NOT MISS THIS ONE.  The Punta Cana Poker Classic is turning into something massive as we have been getting tons of searches related to this November event.  We were there last year and the resort is absolutely amazing.  With attendance expected to be dramatically increased, the tournament is going to pay big.

Jenny Woo and the crew from Gambling911.com will be on hand covering the Classic.

Brands that will be sending players and maintaining a solid presence at the tournament include DoylesRoom, True Poker and BetDSI.com, all of which enjoy a very solid relationship with Gambling911.com.  In fact, our own Jenny Woo spent several hours in their offices last week.  All of these fine brands welcome US players.  Gambling911.com also anticipates Bodog Poker to be sending a number of players to this event as well being that these online poker rooms all maintain a great relationship with one another.  There could be some European online poker rooms taking part, especially with the large contingency of Swedish players scheduled to participate (last count 100 plus).

There is speculation (which means it is not confirmed yet) that Jennifer Tilly (The Bride of Chucky) and Phil Laak (The Unabomber) will be among the pros scheduled to appear along with the legendary Doyle Brunson, though his travel plans tend to be determined one to two months in advance these days and we are still a long ways off.

The Premium Punta Cana Poker Classic Package includes:

$1,500 + $150 buy-in to the main tournament, with $500,000 Guaranteed!
5 nights in the five star Punta Cana Hard Rock, Dominican Republic.
roundtrip shuttle service – airport-hotel-airport
all inclusive premium food and beverages
24 hr. premium room service
access to exciting poker cash games and side events
$1500 on spending voucher for hotel services such as golf, spa, tours, etc…
