2014 EPT Monaco Schedule and ‘Grand Final for Everyone’ Announced

ONCHAN, Isle of Man – February 3, 2014 – The PokerStars.com and Monte-Carlo® Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final today announced a spectacular 11 day 48-event schedule, featuring more tournaments with buy-ins of €500 or less than ever before.

The EPT Grand Final, which takes place from April 23 to May 2, 2014, will be linking up with the France Poker Series (FPS) for the first time and will include a wide variety of events at a range of buy-ins. In addition to the €1,100 FPS Monaco Main Event and the €10,600 EPT Main Event, a total of 21 events are priced at €500 and below – more than ever before - giving a wider spectrum of players the best opportunity to get in on the action. There is also plenty to keep high rollers happy with a €2,200 FPS High Roller, a €25,500 EPT High Roller, and a show-stopping €100,000 Super High Roller. Plus, as the Grand Final festival is starting only two days after EPT Sanremo, this will offer players three full weeks of non-stop world class poker action on the glorious Italian/French Riviera.

EPT Grand Final cash games

Complementing the extensive 48-event tournament poker offering, the EPT will also be providing 40 cash game tables operating from noon until 6am throughout the festival.  As in Season 9, the cash games will be run by the EPT itself, ensuring players benefit from the fast-paced action, reasonable rake, wealth of experience and high standards associated with EPT dealers. In addition to Hold’em and Omaha, the EPT will offer all forms of Stud, Draw, Open Face Chinese and the incredibly popular new Open Face Chinese Pineapple.  With all types of games and stakes, the cash games will be an exciting addition to the EPT Grand Final.

EPT President, Edgar Stuchly said: “The EPT has been leading the way in live poker for ten years, and this year’s EPT Grand Final will be the biggest and best ever. With more tournaments than ever before at lower buy-ins alongside our other events plus a wide range of cash games, a greater variety of players will be able to experience the EPT, creating a fuller festival atmosphere. The EPT is a tour dedicated to providing an enjoyable and world-class poker experience for everyone, with a choice of games and buy-ins that that you simply cannot find anywhere else.”

Freeroll your way to the EPT Grand Final

This year, the EPT is offering players a number of ways to freeroll their way to a €14,000 Grand Final Main Event package. Satellites into weekly EPT Grand Final Freeroll tournaments are running daily on PokerStars.com at 12.15, 15.15 and 20.15 ET until April 5, with one Main Event package plus €1,000 in cash prizes awarded each week.

Players who deposit $70 or more before 23:59 ET on February 9 using bonus code EPTAPRIL will receive a free €11 EPT satellite ticket that can be used in any EPT Grand Final satellite until April 20, including the EPT Grand Final Mega Qualifier on February 9 at 13.05 ET, where 10 guaranteed Grand Final packages will be awarded.
