The online gambling website BetUS.com this week released odds on the next time an air traffic controller will be found asleep and at what airport.
If you believe these oddsmakers know something we don’t, April – June should be a quiet period as all these controllers are under the radar, so to speak.
Come July, the bookmaker believes that attention will be diverted away from this story and that controllers may feel more inclined to get some zzzzz’s.
But the official favorite is November – December and beyond, which would pay near even odds.
Airports favored to have a napping controller first included Las Vegas, Newark and JFK, all with 8/1.
