This promises to be an excellent matchup between two solid teams that have played well of late with LA holding on to a 33-16 record and Cleveland on an upward trend to 30-20.  The Cavs are looking for their 12^th straight win after dropping the 6 previous games.  This streak essentially started with wins over both the Lakers and Clippers on the road. 

Despite the Cavaliers lackluster 22-28 record Against The Spread, they have paid out in 9 of their last 11 games as part of their current win streak. The Clippers are only 22-29 ATS failing to cover 8 of their last 10 games overall.

The line on this game was coming in at -5.  Though these teams have split wins and losses in recent meetings, Cleveland was a +6 home dog the last time they faced off against one another.  The Cavs have won at home in four of the last five games of this series and they have done so in three of those by more than the current spread.  Since 2011, the Cavaliers were listed as a home underdog during these meetings.

Those of you looking for an edge on the fantasy front may want to consider Blake Griffin, who draws a favorable matchup versus Kevin Love Thursday evening.  Cleveland has had a tough time containing opposing power forwards when it comes to  scoring and assists in particular.

Jamal Crawford – (LA Clippers) - $5000 – At this price he is likely to go beyond 6X his salary production-wise.  That’s because J.J. Redick has been ruled out for tonight’s game.  Crawford has also put up good fantasy numbers in games past.
