Arkansas should be a -9 favorite against Vermont in this year's NCAA Men's College Basketball Tournament first round.

Freshman guard Zakai Zeigler, whose family was left homeless by a fire in New York City last weekend, made two key free throws in the final seconds to help the Volunteers hold off No. 14 Arkansas 78-74 Saturday.

Arkansas still managed to cover the spread in that game.

As a favorite since 2016, the hogs have gone 111-26 for an 81.0% win percentage.

Ben Shungu had 23 points as Vermont (27-5 Straight Up) rolled past Binghamton 74-42 in the semifinals of the America East Conference tournament on Wednesday night.

Ryan Davis had 19 points for Vermont (27-5).

This one will be played in Buffalo, thus giving the Catamounts a bit of a home court advantage.
