Bucs vs. Saints Preview

(Athlon Sports) - The lack of fans in the stands of the Superdome will hurt the Saints' home-field advantage. The typically raucous crowd would have hampered the Buccaneers' ability to call audibles at the line of scrimmage. Considering the lack of in-game action together, Brady would have inevitably needed to communicate more often with his new teammates. Without the deafening roar of the Who Dat Nation, he should have no problems making himself heard.

The Saints have come close to returning to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2009 season. A miraculous last-second touchdown, a glaring non-call of an obvious penalty, and an inexplicably awful performance by the offense have sabotaged their quests for the Lombardi Trophy. Is this the year that they finally reach their intended destination? The journey will start on a positive note with an important victory over a divisional rival. Bet This One Here Now

Cowboys vs. Rams Preview

(Associated Press) - The Cowboys are a popular pick to be an immediate Super Bowl contender under new head coach Mike McCarthy, with quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott leading an offense that was one of the NFL's best last season.

The outlook is murkier for the Rams, who missed the playoffs last season for the first time in coach Sean McVay's tenure. Their roster took several big losses in the offseason, from running back Todd Gurley and receiver Brandin Cooks to pass rusher Dante Fowler and leading tackler Cory Littleton.

The Rams face significant obstacles to join the Cowboys as an elite NFC contender, but at least they've got a beautiful new home. They held two scrimmages at SoFi Stadium to familiarize their players with their new environs, but the awe still hasn't evaporated.  Bet This One Here Now

Steelers vs. Giants Preview

The Pittsburgh Steelers will enter this game with 20-1 odds of winning the Super Bowl.  The Giants were listed at 70-1 odds.

Oddsmakers have Pittsburgh winning 9 or fewer regular season games in 2020 and the Giants six or fewer.

38-year-old Giants head coach Joe Judge has incorporated a new look offense and a new defense in hopes of ending years of frustrating football for a once-proud organization.

The Steelers (8-8) have missed the postseason the past two years. The Giants (4-12) have made it once (2016) in the last eight seasons, winning 12 games over the last three.

"Early in the season, it's about what you do and the quality with which you do it," Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said. "It's not necessarily about how you are playing or what schematic they employ or the plans they make. Part of winning early in the season is just being a tough team to beat and just not beat yourself."  Bet This One Here Now
