Drew Brees is expected to sit out six weeks with a thumb injury suffered in Week 2 against the LA Rams.  They were still favored to win the division at -125.

The Atlanta Falcons win against Philadelphia Sunday night has them with the second shortest odds at 2/1.

The Bucs, meanwhile, managed to snap a seven-game road losing streak by beating the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.  Tampa Bay is listed at 7/1 to win this division, some good value if you ask us.

And this brings us to the Carolina Panthers.  They are the division longshot at 8/1.

Entering Week 3 it remains to be seen whether Cam Newton will be suited up to play after reinjuring his foot.

Newton informed team officials of the injury after Thursday's 20-14 loss to Tampa Bay that dropped Carolina to 0-2.

He spent Tuesday's practice working inside with the trainer rehabbing the injury.

In two games, Newton has completed only 61% of his passes to receivers with 3-plus yards of separation.
