The hot topic of the LIV Tour isn't going to takeover the U.S. Open hype this week, but it certainly won't be dismissed either. And, to that end, our friends at BetOnline have posted a series of prop bets on the controversial Saudi Arabian-backed golf tournament.
Among the betting props being offered up: Will any LIV Tour player be booed on first tee? and; Will any player be sponsored by LIV Tour? The later odds may be a little to close for comfort where the PGA is concerned.
The PGA suspending 17 players for competing in the rival LIV Golf Invitational Series, most notable among them, Phil Mickelson.
Two-time major winner Dustin Johnson and household names playing in the PGA Tour that include the likes of Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood, Louis Oosthuizen and Kevin Na have all been deemed ineligible to compete in tour events.

PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan defended the decision to take action against these players.
"It's been an unfortunate week that was created by some unfortunate decisions, those decisions being players choosing to violate our tournament regulations," Monahan said. "It's my job to protect, defend and celebrate our loyal PGA Tour members, our partners and our fans. And that's exactly what I did. And I don't think it was a surprise to anybody, given how clear I had been about how we were going to handle this situation."
The next LIV Golf tournament will be taking place in Portland, Oregon from June 30 through July 2 with former U.S. Open champ Bryson DeChambeau scheduled to compete. Former Masters winner Patrick Reed was also added to the roster.
Monahan made it clear that players who compete in future LIV Golf events will also face suspension.
While the PGA defends its turf, some of the outrage stems from players opting to participate in a tournament backed by a country alleged to have been behind the assassination of a US journalist.
There is some cover with US President Joe Biden planning a trip to Saudi Arabia after essentially calling them a pariah state prior to being elected.
BetOnline has released thousands of ways to wager on this week's US Open while weaving in some great LIV golf props.
