Texas Tech is 2-21 against Kansas in the last 23 meetings, so we anticipate seeing a bit of an overlay here.

The Jayhawks come into this game having lost just one and are 7-5 Against The Spread.  Texas Tech is 10-3 Straight Up and 7-6 Against The Spread so far this season.

No. 6 Kansas shot 70.8% from the field in the second half, helping the Jayhawks overcome a scoreless streak of more than 9 1/2 minutes and beat Oklahoma State 74-63 on Tuesday night in the delayed Big 12 Conference opener for both teams.

David McCormack had 17 points and a career-high 15 rebounds and Ochai Agbaji scored 16 points for Kansas (12-1), which made seven straight shots during a 20-8 run early in the second half that put the Jayhawks — who were tied 29-29 at halftime — back ahead by double digits.

"To win a game on the road and miss 19 straight shots, that's not going to happen very often," KU coach Bill Self said. "Our shot selection wasn't great the first half. … The second half, I thought we did a better job. We didn't get to the free-throw line, but we did a better job of at least driving some in the second half."

As a favorite since 2017, KU has gone 107-16-0 Straight Up for an 87% win percentage but that win percentage drops down to 54.5% Against The Spread over that span.

Izaiah Brockington's four-point play with 1:52 left propelled No. 11 Iowa State past No. 25 Texas Tech 51-47 in a defensive struggle Wednesday night.

As a home underdog, Texas Tech is 0-2 Against The Spread since 2017 and 13-25-1 Against The Spread.

Do take Kansas on the moneyline.  Texas Tech has not lost by more than 6 points in the last four meetings, the Red Raiders +5 or longer is another good option and we are close to that number.
