Wisconsin has been absolutely dominant this season, and they look extremely solid. The Badgers have yet to allow a point this season, and their offense has been sharp as well. Wisconsin has outscored their first two opponents by a combined score of 110-0, but they have yet to face a team from a major conference. Michigan got the ultimate scare in week two, but were able to pull out a 24-21 overtime victory over Army. The Wolverines come into this game as the 11th ranked team in the country, and desperately need a win to move up into the top-10.

Wisconsin Wants to Run the Ball

The Wisconsin Badgers want to run the ball behind their talented offensive line, and they are averaging over 215 rushing yards per game. Running back Jonathan Taylor is one of the best running backs in the country, and is off to a great start this season. Taylor has already ran for 237 yards this season, and has found the end zone five times. Wisconsin has also thrown the ball for over 600 yards this season, and quarterback Jack Coan is completing close to 77 percent of his passes. The Badgers will be facing a tough defense in this game, but they have plenty of offense.

Wisconsin has been dominant on defense this season as well, but their offense has helped them out a ton. The Badgers have recorded just five sacks as a team, and getting pressure on the quarterback will be a huge key in this game. Wisconsin has recorded three interceptions this season, and forced four fumbles. The Badgers defense will be ready for the Wolverines in this game.

Michigan Needs More Offensive Firepower

If the Michigan Wolverines are going to come away with this win on the road, then they are going to have to find some more consistent offense. Quarterback Shea Patterson has not played his best football this season, and that’s a big part of the Michigan issue. Patterson has thrown for just 205 yards per game, and is completing just 62 percent of his passes. Running back Zach Charbonnet is averaging 4.6 yards per carry so far this season, but is averaging less than 100 yards per game. Michigan will have to sustain some drives to knock off the Badgers in week four.

The Wolverines have allowed just 21 points in each of their first two games, but their defense struggled at times in the win over Army. Michigan really struggled to defend the run in that game, and that could be a huge issue in this matchup against Taylor and a terrific offensive line. The Wolverines offense will need to help out their defense if they are going to put up a low number in this game.

Badgers Beat Wolverines in Big Ten Showdown

Both of these teams have dreams of winning the Big Ten Championship this season, but a loss in this game will make it hard for the loser. Michigan was the higher ranked team in the preseason, but they have not looked sharp this season. The Wolverines are the more talented team in this matchup, but playing at home gives Wisconsin a big edge. Wisconsin will finally give up some points in this game, but their offense will carry them to a victory. Bet the Wisconsin Badgers over the Michigan Wolverines in this Big Ten Showdown.
