The 2020 NFL regular season is a wrap. A number of head coaches - three so far - have been axed on the traditional “Black Monday” while 14 teams begin preparing for the postseason.

Kansas City (14-2) and Green Bay (13-3) earned the top seeds in their respective conference and, as a result, earned a first-round bye. The other 12 teams are all in action this weekend.

Here’s what bettors can look for this wild card weekend.

Betting Totals - OVER

Two games in particular will lean toward the Over and another two are headed Under in wild card weekend. Baltimore travels to Tennessee as a 3.5-point favorite. Both teams can run the football and put up points.

The Titans have the NFL’s leading rusher Derrick Henry who also became the eighth player in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season. Baltimore has the league’s top rushing offense - 177.1 yards per game - led by QB Lamar Jackson who set an NFL record when he rushed for over 1,000 yards in a second straight season.

Tennessee is a bit more balanced and both teams are in the top-7 in scoring offense. The Total for Sunday’s game is 54.5. With Tannehill at quarterback, the Over is 22-6-1. At home at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, the Over is 11-2-1 with Tannehill under center.

The Bears-Saints game is set for Sunday afternoon. The Saints are a big 8-point favorite, but playing in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome favors offenses. Sunday’s total is 48.5.

The Over is 29-12 in playoff games played in a domed stadium. On top of that, in Drew Brees career with the Saints, the Over is 71-50-2 when he is the starter at quarterback.

Betting Totals - UNDER

On the other end of the spectrum, the Bucs-Washington and Rams-Seahawks games will be low-scoring contests. All four teams are among the better defenses in the NFL. The Under went 12-4 in Rams games this season. Since Week 10, the Under is 6-1 in Seattle games.

The Under went 10-5-1 in Washington games this season. With their game against Tampa Bay being played in Washington, D.C., a low-scoring affair is likely. In outdoor playoff games in January in cold weather locations, the Under is 81-60-4.

NFL Wild Card Weekend - Rematches

Cleveland beat Pittsburgh to close out the regular season and earn a playoff berth. The Steelers held QB Ben Roethlisberger and a few other starters out of the game. Backup QB Mason Rudolph almost pulled out a win anyway, falling a two-point conversion away from tying the game late in the fourth quarter.

Now, the two teams will play again only this time at full strength. Pittsburgh’s full strength led to a 38-7 home victory over the Browns earlier in the season. Cleveland has not won a game in Pittsburgh since 2003. Back the Steelers at -3.5 in this rematch.

The other big rematch is in Tennessee where the Titans beat Baltimore in the regular season 30-24 and beat the Ravens in last year’s playoffs. Once again, the Titans are an underdog though this time they will play at home at Nissan Stadium.

Two of the best rushing offenses in the league will go at it and there is plenty of value in Tennessee at +3.5.
