NASA’s Space Launch System is aiming to take American astronauts back to the moon.

The test launch of the massive rocket and the Orion spacecraft, initially scheduled for Monday morning August 29, was scrapped as a result of a cooling issue with one of the rocket's boosters.

NASA has backup launch dates on September 2 and 5, although some experts are suggesting it may be a few weeks.

BetOnline has now set a number of odds surrounding the Artemis program and ultimately, astronauts on the moon.

The odds suggest a tossup as to whether or not the launch will happen before or after Friday at noon.

There are also odds pertaining to what item astronauts might leave on the moon, whether a female or person of color will be first to set foot on the moon and if any aliens will be seen. The latter has 100-1 odds of happening.
