There is another loaded weekend of sports ahead, and that presents some great betting opportunities. The NBA, NHL, and MLB are all in action at this time, and some terrific matchups are scheduled.

Our focus this weekend is on the NBA and MLB, as there are some great betting matchups to feature. There are more opportunities than the ones listed below, but these are the best sports bets for the weekend.

Utah Jazz at Los Angeles Lakers

The Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers meet up on Saturday for a huge NBA matchup. Both teams are NBA title contenders this season and will likely meet in the playoffs at some point.

Utah now has the best record in the NBA, but it isn't as great on the road. Los Angeles has been great on its home floor, but it is playing without its two stars.

The Jazz can really shoot the basketball, and they have a big edge in team depth against the Lakers. Utah center Rudy Gobert should also dominate, as the Lakers are missing Anthony Davis.

Playing without Davis and LeBron James has hurt the Lakers, but this team has still won some games. The Lakers will be competitive, but they just don't have the firepower to keep up.

Bet the Jazz over the Lakers in this NBA showdown on Saturday.

Brooklyn Nets at Miami Heat

The best game of the weekend in the NBA will take place in Miami on Sunday. The Miami Heat are set to host the Brooklyn Nets, and there will be plenty of star power in this game.

Brooklyn is now the clear favorite to win the NBA title, especially with Kevin Durant back in the lineup. The Nets have acquired a number of key veterans, and this is a very deep team.

Miami has been a tough team to figure out, and injuries have hurt it this season as well. Jimmy Butler has remained a star, but the Heat don't always find a ton of offense.

This game will likely be a playoff preview, and Brooklyn will be out to prove its greatness. Miami keeps it close at home, but the Heat just can't keep up as the Nets pick up a big win.

Check out our best bets for last Saturday.

Tampa Bay Rays at New York Yankees

The New York Yankees host the Tampa Bay Rays this weekend in MLB action. These AL East rivals have a terrific and growing rivalry, and this should be a great series of baseball.

On Saturday, it will be Tyler Glasnow of the Rays taking on Gerrit Cole of the Yankees. These are two of the top pitchers in baseball, and runs will be hard to come by.

Both teams have gotten off to slow starts in 2021, but there is still time to turn it around. Tampa Bay wins games with pitching while the Yankees have a potent offense.

It will likely be one run that decides the outcome on Saturday, as pitching will dominate. The Yankees have a much better offensive lineup, ultimately giving them the edge over the Rays.

Want some more baseball? Should you bet the A’s this weekend?
