The fight between the British boxing champions could be in doubt after an arbitrator in the US ruled that Deontay Wilder is entitled to a third bout against Tyson Fury, and no later than September 15, 2021. Earlier, Fury had said August's match against Anthony Joshua would take place in Saudi Arabia, which could still happen if Wilder accepts money to step aside to not fight Fury.

Fury and Wilder signed a two-fight deal but there was disagreement over the rematch clause.

Oddsmakers currently have Fury as the -185 favorite to win, Anthony is at +165 with the fight still listed for August 14.

Fury's American promoter, Bob Arum, said he would abide by the arbitrator's ruling.

"We're not paying Wilder to step aside," Arum told ESPN on Monday. "It's better to get rid of him and go about our business. We can make the Fury-Joshua fight for November or December."

Arum noted that Top Rank has reserved Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for a Fury-Wilder fight July 24.

Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk on Tuesday were expected to discuss the prospects of a fight now that the blockbuster bout is in doubt.
