911 readers regularly ask us if we recommend XYZ Sportsbook even though they are not part of the Sports911 family.  If a book is in good standing and they are willing to offer an ear should players have a gripe, we'll be more than happy to give the thumbs up.  This is an easy to follow Ratings Guideline.  If a sportsbook does not appear ranked in a 1 to 3 "risk" position, Sports911 cannot offer any type of recourse should a problem arise.  All sportsbook owners listed as a "4" risk are encouraged to contact us for an upgrade.  Those rated "6" or left off list should do the same.  The single most objective ratings guide on the Net today where the sportsbook owners themselves determine their position (based on their willingness to assist Sports911 in player disputes).

Sports911.com offers the highest degree of protection from its "A List" of member sportsbooks.  The "A List" is comprised not only of companies willing to pay a fee to be listed here but they must also meet our extremely high standards.  Nevertheless, we continue to get inundated with inquiries about other sportsbooks offshore.

As such Sports911.com has created the single most comprehensive unbiased listing on the Net of sportsbooks and remarks about these companies whenever possible that we hope will be a useful tool for both the "newbie" and seasoned offshore sports bettor.

A "risk" score has been assigned to each company based on a number scale of 1 through 8 (1 being the lowest risk).  The scale is very easy to follow and in most cases can be adjusted by the sportsbooks themselves through a willingness to cooperate in cases of dispute (assuming the sportsbook is in good standing). 

This rating system is not based on a popularity contest, but rather a combination of good standing and a willingness to work closely with Sports911.com should our readers have a concern or disputes arise.  Premium #1 Ranking is Reserved for Sports911 Members Only.

Risk Score Legend:

1 - Nominal Risk (Sports911.com Member Book - Pays Fee to be Listed on Website.  Readers should understand that such a book meets our high standards and established safeguards are in place to help players.  These books will always be recommended to those contacting our 800 number and via email.  Large deposits are encouraged)

2 - Minimal Risk (This book is in good standing and will cooperate with Sports911 should a player dispute arise.  These books are also accommodating to 911 when available to visit their offices.  Sports911 will recommend its readers to bet at such establishments when asked via our 800 number and email and decent size deposits are acceptable while book remains in good standing and cooperative with Sports911.)

*Operators in good standing MUST contact us for approval to be ranked a #2, otherwise Sports911 can no longer recommend such an establishment to its readers.

3 - Some Risk (This book is in good standing and will cooperate with Sports911 should a player dispute arise, however, they are either  relatively new and unestablished or otherwise previously rated a number "5".  These books are also accommodating to 911 when available to visit their offices. Sports911 will suggest sending a small deposit to a book that meets this criteria when players contact us via email or our 800 number but players must be aware that such books are not yet eligible to become members of Sports911 in the near future.  Such books will be under consideration for a higher ranking at a later date.  Whenever possible we will offer explanations for this rating as well as opinions.)

Books with the ratings that appear below will no longer be recommended to those contacting our 800 number or via email unless these companies express a willingness to assist in cases of dispute or otherwise correct existing problems.  We can no longer recommend establishments that show zero interest in assisting when disputes arise.

4 - Average Risk (This book is in good standing but does not have an assigned representative to work with Sports911 should a player dispute arise)

5 - Slightly More Risk (This book has had its share of disputes and/or concerns but is willing to cooperate with Sports911.com readers in the event of future problems)

6 - Risk Due to No Information (We have little knowledge of this company, good or bad)

7 - Above Average Risk (This book is currently not recommended by Sports911.  There could be many reasons for a book to be rated in this risk category, however, caution is highly recommended)

8 - High Risk (Such a book is very unlikely to pay when a player wins.  They are either out of money or scammers).
