The New York Giants lost to the Cleveland Browns Monday night and with that the Tennessee Titans move into the number one spot of the Gambling911.com NFL Rankings heading into Week 7. The Titans are now the only undefeated team and they did not even have to lift a finger this past weekend being as they enjoyed their bye.

The Giants lost to Cleveland 14-35 on the road.

Give it up for old man Kerry Collins, Fox Sports wrote last week in regard to the Titans performance to date. Not many quarterbacks could lead an 11-play touchdown drive late in the fourth quarter against this year's Ravens defense, and on the road. Jeff Fisher's crew is building something special, and already has a 2 1/2 game lead in the AFC South.

They'll have to stay tough though as both the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars enjoyed decisive victories against solid opponents this past weekend while most of the Titans players were laying on their respective sofas playing around with the remote controls.

The Titans odds to win the AFC South were set at +1300 for a potential $1300 payout on every $100 bet heading into the season. A $100 bet would pay out $3500 if they were to win the 2009 Super Bowl.

Last we checked, the Titans were still paying around $800 for a $100 bet to win the 2009 Super Bowl but those odds are likely to be slashed further come mid week (we're thinking to +700).

In theory, the Titans should remain undefeated going up against the Kansas City Chiefs on the road next week. But after watching the Giants fall to the Browns, Washington fall to St. Louis, Dallas lose to Arizona and Miami lose to Houston in the final few seconds after leading, anything is possible we suppose.

The Titans no doubt welcomed their bye week after being severely beaten up by some tough defenses in recent games. One reporter remarked that the Titans practice last week resembled Club Med. A number of veteran players were being rested and doing rehab work.

Regardless of how banged up this team is, they still seem to find a way to win. This was a team that entered the season with odds to win no more than 8 regular season games.

BetOnline.com will have the updated odds perhaps as early as Tuesday .... So stay tuned.
