North Carolina vs. Rutgers Betting Odds

Rutgers Football
Sep 11 2008 - 9:35pm

With the North Carolina vs. Rutgers betting odds we find a line of Rutgers -5 to -5 ½ across the board with more online bookmakers offering the -5 ½ line, which is where this game opened. There hasn't been a whole lot of line movement on this Thursday showdown although we should point out that the Mirage in Las Vegas had this one down to -4 ½.

BetOnline.com was offering this one at Rutgers -5 and just over 75 percent of the action was being wagered on Rutgers at some of the leisure shops while "sharp" outfits tended to have more action on North Carolina. This game incidentally was being heavily bet on coming into Thursday so whatever happens here matters to the bookmakers. The amount of action being wagered was contingent upon the bookmaker. These two teams played each other two years ago and Rutgers won by five points.

The interesting thing here is that Rutgers should be around an 8 point favorite, so why this line is so low we have no idea.

The OVER 46 has practically all the money and this line has only moved up one number from a previous over of 45.
