NFL Playoffs Betting: Division Game Odds Comparisons

Looking at this weekend's NFL Playoffs betting on the division games we see not one game where the line has moved more than a half point from where it opened.

One of the reasons for this is that all four games are receiving relatively even action on both sides in regard to the spread.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans had odds of Titans -3 across the board and was perhaps the most steady line of the week.  The action here is practically 50/50 heading into game time.

The most lopsided action we could find on the spread was around 64 percent of the betting public on the Giants in their game against the Eagles on Sunday. Gambling911.com expects this number to come much closer to 60/40 by game time without much of a line move.  That ratio is still considered relatively even. The Giants opened as a -4 ½ favorite and that line has settled in at -4 just about everywhere.

On the money line front, there is a little more lopsided action for some of these games - The Ravens, Eagles and Chargers are each getting around 80 percent of the action here as gamblers anticipate an outright win.

There is relatively even action on the totals with the lone exception being the Arizona Cardinals/Carolina Panthers game.  Gambling911.com has already pointed out how with Arizona getting only 6 days rest, the games they played in witnessed 26 Overs and 1 Under.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
