The Los Angeles Lakers will try and bounce back from their first loss of the season as they host the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. The Lakers lost 106-95 to Detroit on Friday and did not play well. "They're one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, obviously," said Kobe Bryant, "And they caught us on a night when they were hot as a pistol and we were pretty cold."

SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Lakers at Home.

The Lakers have won their last two home games against Chicago thanks to their defense.  The Bulls have scored just an average of 75 points per game in the last two trips to L.A.  The last time the Bulls won at Los Angeles was back in 2005.  The good news for Chicago is that they have rookie Derrick Rose this time.  The Bulls are opening a seven-game road trip in Los Angeles and will try and stay around .500 until they get back home.  Rose will be doing his part.  He is the first Bulls rookie since Michael Jordan to score in double figures in his first 10 games. "I didn't even know that to tell you the truth," said Rose, "I'm not even near him right now. Hopefully I will be, but I'm too far way. For me to do that is nice. I'm worried about winning right now." Rose is averaging 18.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.  He is getting support from Ben Gordon who is averaging 25.5 points in his last four games.

Here are the NBA betting stats for Tuesday's game. The Bulls are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 vs. the Western Conference. The Bulls are 9-23 ATS in their last 32 vs. the Pacific. The underdog is 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings between the two teams but the Bulls are 0-5 ATS in the last 5 meetings.

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
