We are now heading into the second half of the NBA season, and one online gambling website, BetUS.com, has posted a series of 2009 NBA betting odds on various scenarios that might occur during the next few months leading up to the championship game.

With all of the tumult that came with first half action, experts are predicting an explosive conclusion to the season. Fans across the country are amped and speculation is at an all time high with regards to coach firings, MVP, and of course championship odds. This being the case, the largest, most successful sportsbook on the web, BetUS.com posted odds on all things NBA second half!

"This NBA season has already seen some spectacular action and gameplay, with the MVP and playoff debates heating up now," stated BetUS.com spokesman Reed Richards. "There's no question this year some big names might get missed for an underdog pick, I really think we'll see some long shots get it done as we approach the playoffs."

Among the 2009 NBA betting odds being offered by BetUS.com:  Coaches to be fired during the year, with Vinny Del Negro, Jim O'Brien, Mike Dunleavy and Nate McMillan listed as the favorites.

At the opposite end of the spectrum:  Who will be named "NBA Coach of the Year"?  The favorite is Mike Brown at 3/1 odds, though "Any Other Coach" had slightly better odds than Brown and the other five listed.
