With news surfacing on Friday that the Mayweather Pacquiao fight is almost a certainty, oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com are reporting to Gambling911.com that the betting action "is through the roof".

"It looks like this fight is definitely going to happen in March," Dave Stanley of Sportsbook.com said. "Should be a ridiculous amount of hype surrounding this and we are seeing it with the amount of bets coming in today."

As reported earlier by Gambling911.com, Top Rank promoter, Bob Arum, told the Fan House on Friday morning that he hoped to have this fight finalized by next week.

"I'm going to meet with Richard Schaefer next week", Arum disclosed, referring to the individual handling Pacquiao. "I'm going to put the deal to bed."

Arum said that considerations for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao include Las Vegas, the Dallas Cowboys' stadium and The New Orleans SuperDome.

Stanley reports that a little more money was coming in on the favorite, Mayweather. That has moved the line up a half point.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
