Louisville Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Panthers College Football Odds

College Football
Nov 4 2008 - 11:33pm

The Louisville Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Panthers college football betting odds were moving between Pittsburgh -7 and -6 after opening at -7.  The line had not moved off +7 on Tuesday at betED.com, which is where you would want to bet the Cardinals.  Bookmaker.com had dropped the line to Pittsburgh -6.  Most online sportsbooks, by the way, had this one at -6 ½.

Louisville is going to cover here as they have gone 7-0 in this series since 1990.

Pittsburgh has played some pretty close games at home.

The Cardinals are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a Straight Up loss.  The Panthers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 home games.

The Cardinals suffered a mystifying loss to the Big East's cellar dwellers for the second year in a row last weekend, falling behind in the first half and watching a comeback fall short in a 28-21 defeat. Louisville came back from 14 down in the second half to come within a touchdown in the final two minutes, but Hunter Cantwell's interception with 33 seconds left ended any chance at forcing overtime.

Louisville entered the weekend as the fifth-best rushing defense in the country, but didn't leave it that high. Syracuse ran for 207 yards on the ground in its victory.

Gambling911.com loves the Louisville Cardinals here to cover by +7 and that line was found at betED.com which is giving away a 50 percent bonus if your first bet is a winner.
