How To Bet On The Grand Prix of Road America

The lines for the Grand Prix of Road America can be found in your favorite online sports betting books, and you will see that most of the drivers have a positive sign in front of their odds. If you saw a line like +600, that means you would win $600 on a bet of $100 if your driver were to win. Then you might see a driver that has a negative sign in front of their odds, so something like -200, which means that driver is a much larger favorite than the rest of the field. You would need to bet $200 to win $100 on that driver. In this case, a winning bet would net you back $300 in total, which is your $200 stake along with your $100 profit.

Champion

The last champion at Road America in the IndyCar series was Sebastien Bourdais, who won the pole and for the fourth time, and his win in the race was his fifth of 2007. Dan Clarke finished second, followed by Graham Rahal, Oriol Servia and Alex Tagliani.

Mario Andretti's five wins leads the way at Road America, while the next driver on the list is his son Michael, who has won here three times.

2016 Prediction

Four of the last five winners before this race went on hiatus started in the top five, including two from the pole and one from second on the grid. That means you’ll want to pay close attention to qualifying to see who is looking crisp on the track. Don’t place your bets until a starting grid is settled as it’s an important factor in betting this race.

Simon Pagenaud started 12th and finished 11th back in 2007, and he has won two of the first four races this season. Take Pagenaud for the win here. You’ll also want take into account the Newman-Haas team as they have had a pretty good track record here recently. They’ve cashed in three of the last five races.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
