In reviewing various online gambling websites, Gambling911.com was thrilled to discover the wealth of Kentucky Derby wagering options now available at BetUS.com.  In addition to your usual odds on which horse will win the 2009 Kentucky Derby, BetUS.com offered so much more in terms of betting propositions.

Filly to win the 2009 Kentucky Derby:  For those of you who don't know much about horses, a filly is the equivalent of Gambling911.com's own Jenny Woo - fast, runs well in mud and is a female horse. BetUS.com has posted odds of +1000 of a filly winning a leg of the Triple Crown.  That would result in a $1000 payout for every $100 bet.  While Rachel Alexandra is a big favorite to win the Friday's Kentucky Oaks, she's not running in Saturday's Derby.  That doesn't necessarily mean she won't have a shot of taking part in either the Preakness or Belmont Stakes.  Many have suggested she is good enough to be participating in Saturday's race.

"This is a good bet and a great payout potential," says Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.   "When it comes to Kentucky Derby wagering options, this is one bet that should not be overlooked."

Additionally, BetUS.com is offering Kentucky Derby wagering on the first letter of the winning horse with two options, both at -115 odds:  A-H and I-Z.

"The folks at BetUS.com were clever to stop at ‘H' since I Want Revenge is the favorite followed by Dunkirk but there is also Pioneer of the Nile, Musket Man and Papa Clem to consider.  Personally, I like the odds of I-Z though Friesan Fire is also among the single odds favorites."

There are odds on the top two finishers, the winning horse number, and horse to run last in the 2009 Kentucky Derby.

"Winning margin of victory is always a fun and high paying prop bet no matter the sport," says Shapiro.  "BetUS.com had winning margin of victory odds.  Dead heat pays $5000 for every $100 bet.  Nose pays $1800.  The favorite pays $250 for every $100 bet - 1 Length to 2 3/4 Lengths."

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
