Dustin Johnson wins first Masters played in the fall with record score of 268.  He opened paying $800 on a $100 bet.

November 15, 2020 (11:16 am ET)

Sungjae Im will pay those who bet him at the start $12500 for every $100 bet should he happen to win.  Im is sitting within striking distance of Dustin Johnson atop the leaderboard. He's currently sitting at 6/1 odds, still some good value.

November 15, 2020 (10:39 am ET)

Dustin Johnson is the 16th player to lead by four shots or more going into the final round at Augusta National. Only four players failed to win from that position — Ken Venturi in 1956, Ed Sneed in 1979, Greg Norman in 1996 and Rory McIlroy in 2011.

Johnson's odds actually got a little shorter, from -300 to -285.

A third round that began with 10 players separated by one shot turned into a one-man show.

The No. 1 player in the world, Dustin Johnson, looked every bit the part with a 7-under 65, pulling away with the eagle and two birdies in the opening four holes, nearly holing a wedge from the seventh fairway, handling the par 5s on the back nine with two-putt birdies and going the last 30 holes without a bogey.

Johnson, who had to sit out two tournaments after testing positive for the coronavirus a month ago, still came into the Masters having won twice, finishing runner-up three times and tying for sixth in the U.S. Open.

“I’m very comfortable with having the lead going into tomorrow. I’ve been in this situation a lot of times,” Johnson said. “I’m looking forward to the challenge. It’s still going to be a tough day. I’m going to have to play well if I want to get it done.”

November 13, 2020 (3:19 pm ET)

Abraham Ancer was leading in the Masters mid-afternoon Friday.  He would pay a whopping $13500 for every $100 bet with a win.

Cameron Smith followed and would pay out $6500 for every $100 bet.

November 13, 2020 (10:46 am ET)

Dustin Johnson was among the early favorites to win this year's Masters at 8-1.  Johnson, Paul Casey, and Dylan Frittelli were tied atop the leaderboard at -7 following the first round.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson were also hanging around within the top 20 of the leaderboard.

Tiger heads into the second round at -4, sitting with some breathing room ahead of the cut line. He tees off at 2:30 p.m. ET.

November 12, 2020 (4:15 pm ET)

Paul Casey took over the lead by late afternoon Thursday.  He would pay out 65-1 odds with a win.

Paul Casey makes his 14th Masters appearance this week, and he has played well in the past. Casey missed the cut last year but has five top-10 finishes in his career. He has been playing fairly average golf as of late and does not stand out in any key metric coming into the week. Casey averages drives over 300 yards, which will certainly help but is lacking in other areas, specifically putting. He currently ranks 163rd in scrambling and 225th in 3-putt avoidance. Casey definitely has the experience to compete, which could make him a good value play at $8,000. However, recent data suggests he is a risky play.--Connor Wege - Rotoballer

Tiger Woods, meanwhile, was looking to finish the day strong among the top 10.

Woods has failed to finish among the top-10 at an event since January.  He even missed the cut in September at the U.S. Open.

November 12, 2020 (1:34 pm ET)

Webb Simpson has taken over the lead Thursday afternoon. He was coming in at 40-1 odds.

"Webb Simpson has been the picture of consistency in 2020 and has posted two wins this season, compared to only two missed cuts. After struggling at Augusta National early in his career, he's looked much better in his most recent Masters starts, posting an impressive T5 last year and a T20 in 2018. Simpson's lack of distance off the tee is slightly concerning on this long Augusta National layout, but his excellence in every other area should help him to compensate for the distance deficiency. He is a rock-solid DFS option this week." --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller

November 12, 2020 (11:23 am ET)

Janewattananond was listed at between +30000 and +50000 heading into the tournament.

Corey Conners and Lucas Glover were also hanging around the top 3.

Conners was listed at +20000, Glover at +25000.

Rain caused early delays in play.  It is still very early in the tournament.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
