Edmonton Oilers Betting Odds for 2014 - 2015

The Edmonton Oilers betting odds for 2014 – 2015 were priced at 65/1 to win the Stanley Cup at BetDSI.com where you can claim up to $2500 in FREE CASH here.

Edmonton finished the 2013-14 season with a record of 29-44-6-3 and ranked a disappointing 24th in the NHL for goal scoring and a disastrous 30th for goals against.

First year head coach Dallas Eakins entered the season touted as a new age wonderkid coach and was humiliated and discredited, but retained, after his first year behind the bench in the Big Leagues.

On the positive one young player, Taylor Hall, did emerge with a  breakout season in which he scored 80 points which ranked 7th in the NHL.  David Perron scored 28 goals after arriving from the St. Louis Blues.

Defense remains thin and weak and the goaltending among the worst in the league as Ben Scrivens and Viktor Fasth were inconsistent and unreliable.  Mark Fayne and Nikita Nikiton will add size and a stay at home presence at defense that the Oilers have needed for years.

German center Leon Draisaitl was Edmonton’s top draft pick and could be on the second line by opening night.  We continue to hear about the Oilers potential and witness their lack of results.  Why will that change in 2014-15?
